The mist of anticipation was lying heavy in the little town of Genesisville as the release of Genesis version 2.0 was awaited.
But it couldn’t be released until WordPress 3.6 was available and the WordPress devs were having problems and there was talk of delays.

WordPress beta versions were released by the bucket load then we had 3.6 Release Candidate and 3.6 Release Candidate 2.0 and then, one moonlit night, the WordPress upgrade notice appeared in dashboards throughout the land and a few days later… Genesis 2.0 was released.

Is it any good?
Let’s put it this way… it’s the sort of theme that you look at and think… I have to find a site where I can use this theme, I have to.

I like the way the background image fades in slowly, I like the colours and the fonts, I like the proportions of the layout and the use of whitespace and I love the cheeky little gap between the content and the footer.
