It’s easy to take a WordPress theme and strip it down to its bare essentials… but it’s not easy to make it look good.
In fact the more you strip a theme down the more the remaining elements have to work together perfectly.

One of the big problems for any WordPress theme designer is coming up with something original. If you’ve tried it yourself, you know how difficult it is.
One guy who comes up with original themes and who does it theme after theme is Wes Straham of Appfinite themes.

I have a client who runs a local re-upholstery business.
In his work he deals mostly with women so for his new website we needed to find a theme that was artistic and feminine and at the same time modern and packed with features.

I looked long and hard before I found the perfect theme and that theme was by Shannon Dow of Eight Crazy Designs and the name of the theme was… Fabric8ted 1.0.
